Dear Providence Cristo Rey Family,
It is with love and grace that I share with you the great things that are taking place at PCRHS. Especially during the last month, we have experienced a rollercoaster of events that have shaped our lives.
I share a concern for our community, staff, students and families as we enter unchartered territory. Under the direction of the Marion County Public Health Department (MCPHD), in collaboration with Mayor Hogsett’s office and in an over-abundance of caution, Providence Cristo Rey High School closed our doors March 16, 2020 through April 5, 2020 due to concerns surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus.
With the best interest of our students, families, community at the forefront of our minds and in conjunction with our dedicated faculty, we developed and implemented contingency plans to ensure that learning experiences will be available for our students during this time. We are working feverishly from our homes making sure that our students continue to learn through extended learning and that our families are safe and healthy.
It is during times like these, that we lean on the word of God, “…I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5. We are confident that God has and will always take care of PCRHS Family.
We have added to our websites resources that we will offer as well as keep you up to date with information that will continue to unfold.
Interim President Providence Cristo Rey High School.
