Providence Cristo Rey High School Announces New President

The Providence Cristo Rey High School Board of Directors announced today that Dr. Margie Crooks has been named president of the school, effective November 13th, 2017.

Dr. Crooks has more than two decades of experience in leading mission-focused organizations, including critical roles within the Diocese of Lafayette and the Archdiocese of Detroit. Her most recent role was as Director of Mission & Discipleship for Church of the Blessed Sacrament parish in West Lafayette, Indiana. She also has an extensive background in healthcare operations management.

During her time with the Archdiocese of Detroit as the Director of Department of Evangelization, Catechesis & Schools, Dr. Crooks oversaw several areas of the Archdiocesan restructuring, which included 125 schools and 270 parishes. She also guided these schools and parishes through the development, alignment, and implementation of strategic goals for quality, Catholic education.
