As we celebrate Catholic School week, we have to recognize the students who put in the effort in following the school’s core values and the mission of the Catholic Church. Many students at Providence Cristo Rey dedicate their time to their school work and their faith by living out the values and teachings of Christ. During our honor roll assemblies we bring attention to students who reached academic success for themselves and how they continue to remain committed to Catholic values. We publicly recognize those who have gone beyond to show their leadership, service, and respect for others within our school community.

A student who was recognized for her achievements with an award that represents service towards the school community and the values, we as a school, stand for was senior Monzerrat (Monce), who is a true example of someone who has embodied true dedication for her education and faith. She received the Campbell-Wielgus Family scholarship in front of her peers and the staff being a true model of hard work and perseverance being able to lead by example of great excellence.
