A Legacy of Kindness and Commitment

By Bianey Benavides-Melendez | Class of 2027

During Catholic Schools Week, we take time to recognize the people who make our school a special place, including our faculty and staff. Today , we are highlighting Mrs. Alfaro, who received an award for being kind-hearted and always putting her students first. She consistently goes above and beyond to support her students, not only academically but also personally, making sure everyone feels valued and encouraged.

Mrs. Alfaro’s dedication shows how much our teachers truly care about us and want us to succeed in life. Her actions reflect the values Catholic Schools Week celebrates—service, faith, and commitment to others.

Teachers like Mrs. Alfaro demonstrates that our future is in good hands, because they invest their time, patience, and hearts into helping shape us to our bright future. Our staff's biggest goal is to see us achieve our dreams and more. Thanks to their help it will be possible. Which is why we love Catholic Schools Week to embrace our staff and teachers for their work ethic.  Catholic Schools week also reminds us that it’s more than academics it’s about strengthening students' confidence for the future, which could drive students and teachers to motivate themselves to lead for success while embracing their faith. Which is the ultimate goal to grow within and recognize those achievements along the way.
