Connected Through Cristo Rey

Happy Catholic Schools Week! Today’s theme for this fun-filled week focuses on community. Providence Cristo Rey is one of the 41 Cristo Rey schools across the Cristo Rey Network, serving students in about 24 different states. As part of this network, we come together to support one another and grow as a strong, connected community.

One way we saw this community in action was during the basketball game on Monday, December 22. Players from a Cristo Rey school in Chicago traveled to Indianapolis to compete against our boys basketball team. While the Chicago team earned the win, our players still had a great experience. After the game, both teams gathered for an after-game pizza party, celebrating their hard work and shared experience. This moment reflects how the Cristo Rey Network brings schools together and fosters a supportive environment where students and staff feel valued, appreciated, and connected.
