DECA Team Advances to State Competition

The Providence Cristo Rey High School DECA club had an amazing showing at their district competition. Every club member placed high enough to qualify for the upcoming DECA state competition!

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA members choose a concentration area and are judged on an exam and their performance during role-play scenarios. There are usually 12 to 18 students competing in each area during district competitions.

Dyrashay Phelps & Iesha Collins each came in 3rd for their events. Nolan Anderson, Mya Gonzales & A'Jewelle Johnson each placed 4th in their events. Congratulations to every Providence Cristo Rey DECA member for their performance!
